Isabel Chen is a multidisciplinary graphic designer based in Los Angeles, with global experience spanning the U.S., U.K., and Asia, emphasis on branding, illustration, and motion.
               Driven by strong conceptual thinking with an interdisciplinary approach, she explores meaning, symbolism, and perception through design and delivers thoughtful brand solutions that balance clarity and creativity to connect with diverse audiences.


ABOUT Originally from Beijing, she studied Print Media at the Glasgow School of Art and earned a Ph.D. in Media Art from the Communication University of China. With over eight years of experience in publishing and university design, she has specialized in brand identity and campaign projects for both in-house and partnership contexts. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2023, she has continued to create brand identities, campaigns, and visual experiences for global brands, start-ups, and non-profits, translating values and stories into innovative concepts and cross-media expressions that resonate with diverse audiences.
               Her collaborations span technology, entertainment, fashion & beauty, food & beverage, and education, working closely with agencies, incubators, think tanks, and cultural institutions. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and her research on visual language and digital culture has been published in top journals. Combining strategic thinking with interdisciplinary visual approaches, she shapes perception and communication across cultures.
