Creation Station Playcare Center

Brand Identity, Stationary Design
Creation Station is an international playcare center in Shanghai, rooted in the “learn through play” philosophy to support holistic child development. The project involves a brand refresh for its global market launch.

The identity uses circles and stripes to evoke motion and curiosity, reflecting how children explore the world. Inspired by activities like stacking and tracing, the system introduces a dynamic, playful identity that brings the values of “learn through play” to life.

The concept emerged from observing the center’s teaching, where children showed a strong interest in circles during graphic, logic, and art lessons, reflecting a shared visual language in activities like stacking, tracing, and using abacuses. This inspired the use of stripes and circles in the logo design, symbolizing key learning activities in an engaging way.
Dynamic logo variations emphasize interactivity and playfulness, with movable elements that reflect “learning through play.” The auxiliary graphics, inspired by children's use of circular stickers, integrate real classroom outcomes, creating a cohesive cross-media brand experience. I also contributed to copywriting by aligning the acronym CREATION with the center’s educational philosophy: Curiosity, Resilience, Exploration, Adaptability, Teamwork, Imagination, Origination, and Nurturing.

The final visual system presents dynamic ball interactions, vibrant colors, and diverse forms—reflecting the center’s multidisciplinary and multi-dimensional guidance. It’s dedicated to nurturing each child’s overall growth and unique personality through a joyful, hands-on, play-based approach to early education.
